Duct Tape bags
When I seen this technique on line well of course I had to try it, A bag made with duct tape? ok I'm game.
All you need is some fabric, duct tape, staple gun ( oh yea no sewing required) and some sharp scissors and I do mean sharp as duct tape can be a terror without sharp scissors.
You basically cut your design, duct tape the back of the fabric as this will be your lining and staple together pretty simple. These make great project bags.

From crochet to digital art
I love playing with digital art almost as much as I love crochet and knitting. I decided to play some so I took a picture of a crochet scarf I had made and then opened up my photo editing program and began to play. The results were so much fun and truly unique and one of a kind

The snake that almost became road kill
When I knit or crochet I like big hooks and big needles and chunky yarn. Seeing this snake and how cute it was I thought I have to make that. Now the pattern calls for a size 1 needle but I used a 2 and found I had the perfect yarn for this project. It took a while using a size 2 needle to get this snake knitted and then there was the hat to make. Once finished I layed the snake on the table and feeling like a surgeon I begin the sewing process with wire wrapped in batting. The hat is a little floppier than I like and I think I choose the wrong buttons for the eyes and will change that but here is the snake that was almost road kill

I really don't know why
It seems to me as if I get further behind on blogging, it is like I just don't take the time or because real life get's in the way sometimes and then the next thing you know it has been weeks since my last post. Well it is a new year so maybe I can get better with this.
I have been doing a lot of crocheting and some knitting. Above I bought some of the fleece yarn and wondered what to make. Decided on a basket weave muff with fleece lining and matching fingerless gloves.
This yarn is so soft and warm and the muff can be worn around the neck.
