I had went to the knit shop and they has some beautiful pocketbook's that were made out of a tapestry fabric and with a very high price tag of 175.00. Well looking at the bag I new I could make one of those so I went to the thrift store and found a tapestry king size pillow sham and an old pocketbook that I wanted the handles for it. I came home took the pillow sham apart and cut the handles off of the old bag and sewed. The inside has pockets and it can be carried as a shoulder bag or handbag.
On a sad note today makes 3 years since my daddy passed away and I miss him every day.
This is a cool bag. I just commented about it on our BnS thread. I have tapestry waiting to be made into handbags. Different style, but handbags. Seeing your bag here reminds me I have purchased purse handles in one of my craft drawers.
